The 2021 Vintage : a look at press coverage
Starting in mid-April this year, we presented the 2021 vintage "en primeur" to journalists who had travelled from all over the world. This shift in dates afforded the wines a few welcome additional weeks of aging that were beneficial both in the presentation of the wines and for the global understanding of the vintage.
Press coverage of the vintage was generally united in saying that there were some major successes, but that quality was not homogenous. Indeed, fastidious vineyard work, attentive teams, a gentle approach in the cellar, care for the smallest details were key in producing charming, delicate, elegant wines.
